For a simple search, type the search parameters in the text box.
If a Default Search Filter is applied through Account Settings, you can disable it by clicking Ignore Default Filter. (If no default filter is applied, this option will not appear)
Click the arrow next to Search Recordings to switch to a Program Guide Search.
Advanced Search Options
To see more search options, click the arrow in the search bar.
The search options box will appear.
Use the options here to refine your search.
See Search Help for detail on how these options work. Click Create Alert to create a new TV Alert.
Search Autocomplete
Typing the first letter of a search filter will display a list of compatible filters.
To see a full list of available search filters, hit the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key when the search box is empty.
Click on any of the filters to add it to your search query.
For the IS and DATE filters, additional options will be displayed after the filter is selected:

NOTE: The DATE filter can be used with any of the preset options OR with a specific date (e.g. DATE:01/23/2013)
Click Search to show results.
Search results display the following information:
•
Title of the recording
•
Date and time of recording
•
Elapsed time since the search result
•
Channel
•
File type
•
Duration of the complete recording (or "Show Currently Recording)"
•
An excerpt of the transcript showing the search result in context
For each result, the following options are available:
•
(Play):. Begins playback of the clip in the SnapStream Web Player at a point in the timeline just before the search result
•
(View Transcript): Displays the transcript of the entire recording in the browser
•
(DownloadTranscript): Saves a copy of the recording to the local desktop
•
(Multiview): Adds the recording to the Multiplayer.
If the search returns multiple results from a single recording, these results can be collapsed by clicking the collapse () button. To expand collapsed search results, click the expand () button.
To select a search result, click the checkbox to the left of the title.
If multiple results appear from a single recording, clicking the checkbox for one of those results will cause all of them to be highlighted in gray, as shown.
The following task options are available for search results:
•ShowSqueeze: Submits all checked recordings for transcoding in a batch. See ShowSqueeze Selected Shows for more information on this option.
•SmartChapter: Submits all checked recordings for SmartChapter generation. See SmartChapter Selected Shows for more information on this option.
•Move: Moves all checked recordings to a video folder of your choice. Note: Enterprise TV cannot move recordings to a location that has not been added as a video folder.
•Export: Copies all checked recordings to the Export Folder of your choice. See Export Selected Shows for more information on this option. See Folder Manager for more information on Export Folders.
•Run Workflow: Executes the Workflow of your choice on the checked recordings. See Workflows for more information.
•Keep Until Space Is Needed: Marks shows as "Delete when space is needed," which allows Enterprise TV to delete the recording when running low on space.
•Add To Playlist: Adds the item to a playlist. See Playlists for more information.
•Share: Uploads a copy of the recordings or clips to SnapStream's cloud server and sends an e-mail to the addresses you specify with links to play back them back. See Share for more information
•Mark As Watched/ Mark As New: Marks checked recordings as Watched or New.
•Keep Until I Delete: Marks shows as "Keep until I delete," ensuring that the show will not be automatically deleted. Shows with this setting will be marked with a lock icon.
If there are multiple results from a single recording, you can skip from one result to the next while playing back the recording.
The text "Search Result X of Y" (where X is the chronological order in which the current result appears and Y is the total number of results from this recording) will appear, as highlighted above. Click the arrow icons to skip from one result to the next without returning to the search results page. You can also use the B and N keys to skip to the previous or next result.
