Before or after you import channels with program guide data for a custom lineup, you can change your analog lineup to a digital lineup. To do this, select ATSC or QAM from the Type drop-down menu. Should I pick ATSC or QAM? ATSC is the broadcast standard for over-the-air HDTV. Use if your TV source is a digital antenna. QAM is a standard for HDTV over RF cable. Use if you are capturing HD channels from a commercial cable provider, or if your channels are generated in-house.
ATSC The following options are available for ATSC channels.
Note: For ATSC, all channel number settings must be entered correctly in order for the tuners to capture a signal.
The following options are available for QAM channels.
Note: For QAM, the QAM Type, Physical Channel and Program Number must be entered correctly in order for the tuners to capture a signal. The Guide Channel setting is arbitrary and does not affect the ability to tune the signal. For assistance with setting up a digital lineup, please contact SnapStream support. |
