Custom IPTV Lineups


Before or after you import channels with program guide data for a custom lineup, you can change your analog lineup to an IPTV lineup.

To do this, select IPTV  from the Type drop-down menu.

 

Once your channels have been imported, you'll see options that look like this:

 

The following options are available for IPTV channels. Note: some options may not be available for some IPTV transport types.

  • Name
  • Callsign
  • Guide ChannelDetermines position of this channel in the SnapStream program guide. This does not affect the ability to capture the channel.
  • IP Address/DNS NameThis is the network name or address of the source of the IPTV channel.
  • PortThis is the port over which the IPTV channel is being delivered.
  • Transport typeThis option indicates the type of IPTV transport of the channel. 
    Options are:
    • UDP (Multicast or Unicast)
    • RTP over UDP (Multicast or Unicast)
    • TCP (in Connect or Listen mode)
    • RTMP (Note- endpoints can be created on the RTMP page)
    • RTMP (Alt)
    • HLS
    • MPEG-DASH
  • Program Number: This is the "subchannel" number of the broadcast.
