Series Recording Job Type

Use this option to change the episodes which will be recorded using this job.

Max Number of Shows

This setting limits the number of shows that will be kept in the library from a recording job. This does not limit the number of recordings that the recording job will generate; it only limits the number of recordings that currently exist on the system. If, for example, three recordings of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" already exist on the system and the recording job wants to create another recording, Enterprise TV will delete the oldest recording created by the job in order to "make room" for the new one.

Max Number of Days

This setting limits the age of recordings created by this recording job. Once a show in this recording job reaches this many days old, it will be expired and deleted.

Destination Folder

The video folder to which the recording will be saved.

MPEG-2 recording profile

The MPEG-2 quality profile that will be used for this recording.

Note: This option has no function for recordings from HD channels.

Ignore Recent Recordings

By default, SnapStream will not record the same episode of the same series more than once. Enabling this option will cause episodes of this series to be recorded even if they have already been recorded. To enable this option for all recording jobs, see the Recording Settings page.
